kryspenI love autumn. And right now I'm up in my office checking through all the wonderful journal entries for the day, seeing how everyone is doing. I opened my office window and there is the biggest hoot owl out there I've ever heard. The two cats are hunkered down on the window sill trying to peer out into the inky darkness and spot the big predator. I keep telling them they'd be owl food... but they persist. He must be an awesome thing. There's a wilderness preserve just to the south and the trees are just getting a touch of gold and crimson now.
The next two weekends should be beautiful. Weston is having their Applefest October 7, 8 and then the Weston Irish Festival October 13, 14, 15. They've had some terrific bands and singers come from Weston over the years and they'll be there again. Many still live there. I feel some road trips coming on ^_^ Hopefully the third weekend should be just crisp enough for a good RenFest excursion. I think I'll drag out all my old medallions and clank around this time.
